How to View and Download Your WildlifeoPedia Certificates and Files
We want to make accessing your digital certificates and fact sheets as easy as possible. Since all our downloadable assets, like the Koala SPONSOR file, are hosted on Google Drive, here is a simple guide on how to view and download them properly:
Viewing the File (Works for Everyone)
Click the Link: Simply click on the file link provided to you (for example, the link for the Koala or Platypus certificate).
Web Preview: The file will open in a web browser using Google Drive's viewer. This allows you to read the full document, scroll through the fun facts, and see the campaign information without needing to download anything or sign in.
2. Downloading the File for Permanent Storage
Open the File: Follow the steps above to open the file's web preview.
Find the Download Button: Look for the Download icon. In the case of Google Drive it is currently findable through File > Download (CRTL + D).
Click Download: Click on the Download icon or select Download from the menu.
Choose Your Format (if prompted): For files like your certificates, Google Drive will usually download a PDF version, which is the best format for viewing and printing on any device. The file will then save to your computer's or phone's default downloads folder.
3. What if I Don't Have a Google Account?
No Google account is required to view or download your files.
Viewing: You can open and view the files directly in your web browser using the Google Drive preview link.
Downloading: The download function works for all users, regardless of whether they are signed into a Google account or not. The download button simply saves a copy of the PDF or document directly to your device.
